Hi,

I'm using nginx to provide reverse proxy support for the web apps I run at home. I'm a total noobie to this. I had to reinstall the my Mac Mini Server on the previous weekend and spent a few days writing scripts to make it quicker in future. A couple of those led to me ditching the awkward and OTT Server app provided by Apple and use OS software in place of the features I used, OpenVPN and nginx namely.

I want to provide a single forms authentication page which would go off to another Mini but running Windows; I've been a M$ dev for 20 years. However some sites call into some of the web apps used. So with that in mind...

is there currently anyway to exclude certain paths from authentication, for example /xyz/api?
