"Network ops" in OSX client

What does "Network Ops" mean?

I am trying to send data from one machine on a network to another and seem to be getting no response.

The App store version is actually bugging when dealing with non-localhost streams. I have a bug fix ready, although I have to spend some time to adapt it to the newest (and changed, see sandboxing) App store requirements.
