1.0 Stability Roadmap Tracking

How are we gonna get to 1.0? Feel free to edit this post and comment so that we can organize around the shared goal of relative initial stability.

1.0 milestone

• FEATURE FREEZE payjoin. Only fix bugs and make changes for stability
• Golden Path: v2 to v2 complete error handling is really what matters. Backwards compatibility with v1 is ok. stuff like #433 may not be complely critical for us to actually have a v2 release
• Dogfood the Liana integration in-house
• Tag our next release 1.0.0-alpha
• Make sure the reference implementation is has proper v1/v2 conditional compilation and serves as a delightful, easy to use reference

Considering that currently our only "production" users are using the Dart bindings, I think a priority for 1.0 is to also publish an up-to-date Dart library to https://pub.dev/ and get BBM/Cake migrated asap
