There have been no new releases since 1.1.1 and some of the documented features, such as TLS transport, don't work on 1.1.1

I also wonder the same. I like this library alot but would like to know if there is someone maintaining it? @paulgrove @stephenwvickers @sethb0

Indeed there has been activity in this repository, but no corresponding publishes.
