it doesn't work for a lot of add-ons, and once it works, they can't add a series
Adding Series to the library does not work. Movies work fine, but series don't add to the repository, just an empty folder with the series name. Tested on HBO MAX Video Supplement
Which one doesn't work? Need to be clearer, my repo works for a small list of addons, if any of them doesn't work I need you to open an issue.

HBO Max, Prime and Netflix do not work for me only thing i get is an empty folder
I don't know what you're doing there, but if you're using it, it won't even work, there's no reason to open a PR.

I have the exact same problem as Flekoun58. I can add Movies from Crackle, but adding TV shows (tested w. Flash Gordon) doesn't work. The episodes appear in the "Managed" list in the add-on, but the tvshow folder only contains the Season folder with no streaming files in it. As a result, scanning that folder to library does not work.
No error messages, nothing in the logs.
I suppose I'm using version 4.0, I don't remember what worked or what didn't, in any case, my repository is stopped with changes I made and it doesn't work either, maybe in the future I'll get back to working on the project.
