Version always showing 1.0.0

Haven't figured out, why the AppVeyor replacement of the Version info is not working...

Is this an actual issue? Or is this perhaps specific specific platforms?

Here's a screenshot of the version command from the pre-compiled version on Ubuntu 18.0.4 version_ubuntu18 0 4

And here's a screenshot of the version command on the commit #cc32985 version that I compiled yesterday, also runnin on Ubuntu 18.0.4 version_dev_ubuntu18 0 4

Hi, I entered 0.5.0 manually. The problem lies in the appveyor build step which should override Version numbers, but does not.
