bpmn-engine event loop inside electron

running the engine on the main electron process always ends up with the spinning wheel and non-responsive application. Is there a particular reason for such?

Sounds like an electron issue.

yeah I need to investigate further, it's not every single process that such occurs, found in particular sub-processes to be causing such.

I'm not that familiar with electron, but have you ran with environment variable DEBUG=bpmn* to log the progress? It is possible to pass your own logger.
