You don't have the necessary permissions
Hi,
I created my pkg with packages and everything finally works fine.
I use it to create a pkg of my .app application.
The thing is , when i try to run it after i installed it , i have an error message that the operation can't be completed because i don't have the necessary permissions.
How can i fix this ? I tried to put the settings of asking for admin password , of overwriting directories permissions , nothing work. Can you help me please ? I'm new in this.
Which owner and group are set for the app in the payload? It's usually the first thing to check. If you install your app in /Applications, it should be root:admin (or root:wheel). The POSIX permissions are usually set correctly by Xcode so it's more difficult for them to be broken.
