Is this package deprecated?

I'd like to integrate this library but your NPM page says there's a critical bug and that the package is deprecated. Is this certain?

Also, what is the nature of the bug and can it be rectified in anyway (i.e. fix a dependency or upgrade to the latest Cheerio version, etc.)?
