One of the most important capabilites for any messenger app is the option to export chats to encrypted db or csv files

would be nice if there such an option like signal have encrypted database backup

with signal backup you can later decrypt the db with the following command: signalbackup-tools_win --output RAWBACKUP/ signal-YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MMinute-SS_NewName.backup 000FABRICATED_PASS000000000000
