Thumbnails are not shown in activity section after deleting the file

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a file
  2. Go to activity section and check the thumbnail is shown
  3. Go back to files view and delete the file
  4. Go to activity section

Expected behaviour

Files previews should be shown as they are also shown in the trashbin section

Actual behaviour

Files previews are not shown

Server configuration

oC 10.0.9.RC3 and activity branch release-2.3.7

Client configuration

Chrome: screen shot 2018-07-10 at 12 31 41

Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04

Logs

No relevant info shown in the browser console, network tab or the server logs

we had the same behavior in previous releases of activity - no regression. There is noone activly working on this issue. Assignment is to keep me on this for the great-thumbnail-rework-project
