apiservice-cert volumeMount is not attached to a init container

Bug Report

The apiservice-cert volume is not extended for initContainers.

What did you do? I have a initContainer in my CSV and the apiservice cert enabled. After the CSV is deployed, I did not see apiservice-cert volumeMount automatically extended in my initContainer. The behavior is inconsistent with the regular containers.

What did you expect to see? apiservice-cert volumeMount extended in the init container

What did you see instead? Under which circumstances? I did not see apiservice-cert volumeMount in my init container

Environment

  • operator-lifecycle-manager version:

quay.io/operator-framework/olm@sha256:32db73274863b08cef237d02314a9d8c827ed2f33f0b00166dd3b055af63bb31

  • Kubernetes version information: Kind Cluster v1.24.0 v1.22.2
