A newer version of org.slf4j:slf4j-api exists, but since this PR has been edited by someone other than Dependabot I haven't updated it. You'll get a PR for the updated version as normal once this PR is merged.
Be aware that it's a breaking change. 2.0.x fails to work with slf4j implementations for 1.7.x.
