Adjust check-in frequency of projects
Got a request from a customer, manager of a support-team.
Problem
Her team is primarily focused on providing support for customers, but on weeks when the influx of support cases is lower they dedicate time to make improvements to the team playbook. They are managing this process via a project. As in her team, giving exceptional support is on spot n.1, they often can't make significant progress on side projects in one week.
Changing the frequency to biweekly (every 2 weeks) would suit their rhythm better.
Solution
The straightforward solution is to allow changing the frequency, but to not jump straight into it without thinking, lets also explore if there is an alternative, maybe better suited solution for such needs.
Would love to give them "unstructured" tasks in spaces first before allowing everyone to widen the check-in frequency.
