Consider upgrading to Vue 3

Vue 2, which we use for the frontend, is EOL as of Dec 31, 2023.

The article lays out the cases for and against upgrading to Vue 3. Although "no further security updates" sounds scary, as the article points out, there hasn't really been any significant security incidents for Vue 2 in the past.

My recommendation is to not upgrade.

It is mandatory. And still our best choice (like I would not recommend to replace Vue.JS at all).
