Map controls not functioning in Chrome 40 on Windows 8

I'm unable to zoom in or out, as well as expand/collapse the layer switcher menu and select different layers. This seems to be an issue with click events not being handled.

To reproduce:

  1. Go to http://dev.openlayers.org/examples/zoom.html in Chrome on Windows 8
  2. Attempt to zoom in or out using the controls
  3. Instead of zooming, the hash #zoomIn or #zoomOut appears in the address bar

Hi, I had the same issue. It's not working in Chrome, only on computers with touch screen. You should disable touch screen in Chrome and zooming will be working. You can do it like in this example:
