Update doesn't dispatch callback

On 7.6.3 and latest OpenFL, I'm not seeing an Assets-related callback when I call openfl update windows, even though the assets are being updated.

I added the event listener on the OpenFL side and put traces on the Lime side, but still no dice. I don't see the entry point that connects tools with the assets either.

I know you're an expert on the OpenFL side of things, but you're going to have to slow down because I have no clue what you're talking about. Can you point to the specific functions that aren't working?
