why file dowloaded from Atari 2600 VCS ROM Collection is so big? my 450GB free space is not enoough

When I tried to extract it with standard Ubuntu "Extract Here" I ran into the same problem. But then I installed Ark and extracted the archive with it and it went smoothly. It's just about 20 mb.
