API method to ask for genotype download links for user-ID(s)
This was discovered when I wanted to download the genotyping files of all ppl that have entered the peanut butter preference (c.f. https://twitter.com/gedankenstuecke/status/943205612837486592).
You can easily get all users that have a given phenotype and their variations through the API. Biut right now there's no easy API method for asking for genotyping download URLs for a set of users/single user.
While for i in $(cat phenotype.results.txt); do curl opensnp.org/user/$i |grep|…;done can approximate that, it's not really elegant. Having a respective method added to the API might be the better way.😂
Came here looking for the same. I'd like a list of all 23andMe URLs (I know I can grab them all).
Cheers,
Unfortunately we're all pretty busy and are unlikely to get around to implementing it any time soon. @CholoTook If you're interested in adding those API endpoints that could be a great contribution ;-)
Thanks, I'll check it out :-)
