FAQ section missing in the app.

Open ivary43 opened this issue 7 years ago • 7 comments

Summary: FAQ section is missing in the app. generally there should be an FAQ section in the app that should contain things like the meaning of various colour coding used in loan section etc. Also we can put Call now and Leave an email option for a query.

@tarun0 , @therajanmaurya what is your view on this?

@ivary43 How many such legends are there in the app? If they are a few like 3-4, there isn't any need to add any such info because the field officer (the user) can learn the meanings easily. It's better to put that info in the documentation of the app so that the new user can refer it and understand the meanings.

Moreover, if we have to add anything like that, instead of having some separate screen for the legends, it's better to provide the information right on the screen where they are used. E.g. if the colors are used in the loan section, he should be able to find the meaning on that screen only.

My suggestion for that case would be to show a dialog with the colors and the corresponding meanings whenever the user taps on any color. It should be very simple to dismiss (Cancellable and no particular button to cancel it)

@tarun0 yes I agree with you so should I put those dialog boxes?

Less than 3-4 I guess.

3-4 aren't enough for a new FAQ screen. If you don't find some other open issue worth working upon, you may go for it but I'll again say that it's a low priority issue.

You may use either of the two approaches

  • When the user taps on the color, a dialog will show up explaining the color and corresponding meaning. It should ideally disappear on its own within 2-3 seconds or when the screen is tapped out of the dialog.
  • You may add a header row (the very first row) something similar to the below screen.

row_header

I think the 2nd approach is better.Yes, I have other issues I will work on this one later.
