Problem
The problem is that there isn't a specifc timing or duration the sync is going to last.

Proposed solution(s)
Add the estimated time based on testing of the sync functionality inside the application. I don't see it these and it will be good so that users and estimate how much time to spend on this task.
I agree with this suggestion, also, I would suggest A last sync duration log so users get a sense of how long it usually takes on their system.
