Hi @emmanuelbaa, thanks for reporting this.
I ran into the exact same "device couldn't reach the server" error. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the networking, and it feels like the current setup for local sync is incredibly fragile.
It seems to be a specific issue where the mobile app can't properly find the server, even when the host machine is running Planet successfully. This is definitely a critical bug that needs a deeper network fix in the app itself.
