File component type on hasMany overwrites file input to null value

Ive got a projects module with hasmany files

If i submit a file it will retain the file on initial submit,
if i refresh, come back to the project, or have a validation error, the file will be overridden

(Edit) Apologies i was not very clear, The file value gets overridden to null but the file is still present in storage/
