Describe why this model is relevant

The later members of the Yolo series are highly performant and have a lot of interest from the CV Community. Because Yolo v8 and Yolo v9 have difficult licensing issues (released under GPL), the specific MIT Licensed Yolo v9 is an attractive alternative.

Notes

There are some differences between how this MIT rewrite does it's output from the GPL'd version. We should also verify that the entire project, from the source code to the model weights are all completely non-GPL'd.

I would like to see this too. Looking at YOLO 11, there’s no clean, widely-excepted MIT-licensed core implementation of YOLO11, only forks or AGPL 3. Same issues with YOLO10, always ends up being Ultralytics weights under AGPL 3.
