Reading board_spec.xml inside KernelMemBW of board_test

Inside the comments of the KernelMemBW function of the board_test, it is stated that the number of memory interfaces/banks is read form board_spec.xml ref1 and that the theoretical bandwidth is read from board_spec.xml ref2.

Where can I find the code that reads that from board_spec.xml as described in the comments? To me, it seems like there is none.
