Thanks for the suggestion!

You can use the Scroll by moving the cursor along the edges of the screen option which does something similar.

The description of this preference seems incorrect.

It should be "edges of the image", not "edges of the screen".

I'm not sure if it should be changed, the way it is now, it's understandable, and the scroll can work even if it's not over the image, since it currently activates in the center of the window (50%), leaving the sides free. If the image takes up less than 50%, it will still activate even where the image isn't.

This is a bit strange. "edges of the screen" sounds like it's the far right side of the screen (near the scroll bar). But it's actually in the middle 50% of the screen.

What about something like this?

  1. Scroll by moving the cursor near the top or bottom edge (Disables drag and drop scrolling)
  2. Scroll when the cursor is near the top or bottom edge (Disables drag and drop scrolling)

Maybe the middle should be emphasized, since it doesn't work at the edges of the screen:

Auto-scroll when vertically moving the cursor in the middle of the screen (Disables drag and drop scrolling)
