Built switches are retained if a scenario is restarted

Open Ryder17z opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

I have built 2 track switches in forest frontiers and saved that park.

I then tried opening a fresh instance of the same scenario, but the switches were retained (but now marked invalid) If I start this scenario again after restarting OpenRCT2, the switches are still thrown into this empty park.

For some reason they also stick around even if i delete them first and then restart the scenario.

Not sure where the problem lies

Did you build these switches during an older version of the plugin?

Advanced Track used to use the park name in order to assign data to the save file. This obviously had the issue for parks with the same name loading in the wrong data.

The new version is able to save the data with the park file properly. But that does mean that the old data sticks around, and will continue to load, unable to be deleted. I need to sort something out for that.

~~No this is from the latest version only. I was previously on v1.0 and didn't have that problem.~~

Edit: It seems I didn't see the issue until now and forgot about building some switches on the initial version of this plugin as there is stuff in plugin.store.json
