Focus issue when moving from a short program to a much longer program

When building a TV guide layout using programguide, I've come across a strange focus search issue. If a program directly above or below the currently focused program is much longer and they both start or end at the same time, the focus search skips it and the focus jumps to another row. For me, it happens e.g. when trying to move from a 1-hour-long program to a 4-hour-long program, and the channel height is smaller than the default 64 dp (I went with 40 dp). It's visible in the attached video when trying to move from program 18 to program 23. It jumps to program 26 instead.

I don't think this is a bug in programguide or MinaBox since I was able to reproduce using a simple LazyVerticalGrid as well (https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/367440163). But I figured somebody here might have come across the same issue when building a TV guide layout in Compose and there might be some workaround which I haven't discovered yet.
