Hi! Have you considered making a pull request upstream? I kind of feel like the way this plugin works should be the default behavior.

I have not tried lately, but did back in May 2019. PRs stayed without being merged until they did in March 2020. Hence the fork in between. Surely can issue a PR back to upstream - I don't want to maintain this repo if it is not needed. Let me try.

For the records, I am still considering this. I hope that the latest release will provide a much better experience for users of this plugin.
