I believe that doing it this way was the best way to remove the deprecated functions without modifying the rest of the code, but I could be wrong and am open to try out other solutions.

I then tested it on Brave, Chrome and Firefox and it worked on all of them. Tried changing locations several times and going back to the same ones.
