macbook air not giving permission to connect to mustang II

Hi folks, This is a user question. I'm not so technical but have been playing with terminal and chat gtp on my mac and I'm trying to connect my fender mustang 2 guitar amp to the mac via PLUG. I had it working last night but I have a problem now with granting permission to connect to the amplifier. It says access denied. Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it please?

I'm not familiar with Macs, but on Linux, permissions are managed through udev rules. Perhaps there's something similar on your system?
