Expected Behavior

I expect it to just continue without any hitches.

Current Behavior

I recorded for a while (the one here was one i recorded up to seven minutes for) and the video just froze. I'm using the settings that OBS picked out for me, and im on the base M1 Air.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Record a video
  2. Come back after a while and see if it is frozen or not

Anything else we should know?

I updated to 13.5.1 and it appears to be quite a bit better, but it still hasnt COMPLETELY solved the issue. I once got up to 20 mins without it freezing.

I also have this issue, freezes randomly around 30 to 40 minutes in. I have amd, and I'm on arch/hyprland.

Hiding then showing the source does unfreeze it, but not for long. I've also tried keeping obs on on another monitor, but that doesn't prevent it from freezing.

When not recording, the preview never freezes.
