com.objective.see.lulu.extension is using 100% CPU

Sample of com.objective-see.lulu.extension.txt

I noticed my machine slowing down and saw this on my activity monitor. I disabled LuLu and I can use my machine again. So the sample was done with LuLu disabled.

I recently upgraded to Mac OS version 12.7.4. Things were fine until today and I was seeing my machine having outragous response time. So I am not sure what is going on .

I rebooted my machine and that did not seem to fix the problem.

The CPU utilization is back down to almost zero. So I reenabled LuLu.

After leaving my Machine on all night, I logged into my MAC this morning. It was sluggish, so I looked at the activity monitor. The com.objective-see.lulu extension was using 99% of the CPU. I disabled LuLu. The continued to register at 99% CPU. But the machine became usable. Several hours later process is using 0.0 % CPU and I re-enabled LuLu.

It is weird. I had this problem early in the morning for several days. I would wake my computer up from it’s slumber and the process was running at 100%. I would disable LuLu and use activity monitor to kill the process that was using 100% of the CPU. Then enable LuLu again and everything would be fine.

But about a week ago, everything was fine. I’ve had NO instances of the process taking 100% of the CPU since. So I’m not sure what was triggering LuLu to have this process thrash the machine.

If this happens again, can you perform a sample of the LuLu extension? process (via Activity Monitor)?

...this will provide a thread/stack trace showing me exactly where its stuck/thrashing.

Thanks!
