iPad Playground Equation Formatting

Platform: iPad Playground (iPad Pro 10.5") Version: 1.0 (2017-06-02) Issue: LaTeX-Like Typset Rendering Description: All text embedded between $s does not render as an equation. I'm not sure if this is a deficiency in playgrounds, or an error.
