Adding support for emojis
- Added support for emojis
- Increased the font size for the text clipboard so that it is more visible
Hi,
Thank you for the pr. I have some comments. Can you check them out?
Thanks, @oae, I am new to gnome-shell-extensions development, these are just some hacks I've been tyring around to add some features and styling.
@mepowerleo10 maybe we can add a separate panel that contains all emojis with search functionality.
Like below but Pano style;

Does this mean pano will be able to be used as an emoji selector?

That would be a nice to have feature, but don't you think that would be trying to do a little bit much?

However, now that I am thinking of it, we could add a tabbed view for the main clipboard and the emoji section.
Please don't turn Pano into more than a clipboard manager. If you want to release an emoji picker maybe release it as another extension. Or even update Pano to support additional "Panels" through an extensible interface so you could release an emoji picker extension for Pano... but don't make it part of the main Pano.
yep, +1. pano is just a clipboard manager and dont let it be a toolbox containing everything. do one thing and do it well.
Gnome already had Character app, that has a feature to select and search for emoji.
It would be better to just handle the emoji in the clipboard. Make it bigger like so.
