ID switch when i'm tracking animals

Hello! When i'tracking animals, the tracking_ID is jumping. I have a guess for this situation: the animals' outlook features change a lot when they move compared with walking person or vehicle（their features change little）. Does my guess make sense? Do you have any idea? Thank you!
