apollo Error on node 18

error @apollo/[email protected]: The engine "node" is incompatible with this module. Expected version ">=12.13.0 <17.0". Got "18.12.1" error Found incompatible module.

Please advise.

I'm running into the exact same problem. It seems to be caused by the dependency on vue-cli-plugin-apollo wich has not been updated in 3 years.

Any ideas are appreciated.

I guess this issue related with dependent packages https://github.com/apollographql/federation/issues/2167#issuecomment-1317554261

I applied a bypass for it and that is works good currently for me

in package json

...
"engines": {
    "node": "18.x.x",
    "yarn": ">= 1.22.17"
  },
 "packageManager": "^[email protected]",
...

then run fresh install on yarn with --ignore-engines argument

yarn --ignore-engines
