Module catalogue search possibly blocked

Open VVinter-melon opened this issue 3 years ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug

Description: Context: I am a NUS student on exchange at ETH Zurich. Using my student residence wifi (which is associated with ETH Zurich wifi network I think), I am unable to access the module catalogue search feature, showing error "We cant load module information, module search might be having some issue at the moment". I am still able to view my timetable, and access specific module information from the timetable page.

To my knowledge, the wifi here uses cisco umbrella to block certain sites, such as VPNs and other content. I suspect that the network is blocking something related to module search.

Not particularly problematic as using swiss mobile data circumvents the issue.
