CF CLI v8.8.0 introduced a new deployment strategy, the canary apps deployments.

The latest image of the resource published to Dockerhub as the CF CLI v8.7.10 installed. So the new canary deployment strategy cannot be use with the resource at the current time.

Is there a release of the resource with the updated CF CLI version planned soon?
