any chance I can update my computers with tiny11?
Update? You can't, you need a CLEAN INSTALL using USB. You cannot simply mount the .iso file then run the setup executable. Also probably use this script since i can't trust a prebuilt one on archive. (https://github.com/ntdevlabs/tiny11builder)
Hello, Finally worked and successfully upgraded to Win11 Pro.
My Win11 upgrade failed 2 times with the following error message:
- "The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase wiuth an error during the BOOT operation"
- "The installation failed in the SAFE_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operation"
I was using KVM switch the 1st time, removed it as it may driver issues. I had Win10 ENT and so downgraded it to Win10 Pro. After 2nd attempt failure: I also found out that 1 software update (apart from Defender update) was pending. Updated it. Removed, HyperV and related windows features from the system. and I think the most important change i did was Turned off the Bitlocker encryption and reboot the machine clean couple of times.
3rd time was a charm... It worked perfectly and now I am running Win11 Pro. I will check for any software updates and make sure that the system is stable.
HW wise, I have an I7 3Ghz 6 CPU, (12 cores) with over 10TB storage and 24GB RAM. Hope this will be helpful to someone who is facing the same errors and to get to Win11.
