Only confirming -> PW4 with fw 5.15.1

My kindle has finally become useful :)
And fyi I can confirm the jailbreak works pretty fine with paperwhite 10th gen (pw4) with firmware 5.15.1 (I have been since years in flight mode to prevent updates ota, in the hope to find a jailbreak at some point xD )
I regret updating my 10th gen PW to 5.16.2.1.1, even though the guide recommended me to upgrade to this version for better results. Can't get it working. It says "Jailbreak installed", installed the hotfix from the settings menu and I get an "update failed". My UI also never changed to Chinese despite setting it at the setup screen, so at this point I think that following this advice may have been a bad idea
As long as you are on 5.16.2.1.1 you are fine and can retry

Also where does it say Jailbreak installed?
On Step 14: "Your Kindle should reboot, and some log messages should appear in the top right-hand corner" I am getting the log output with "Added developer key", "I am root" and "Finished installing jailbreak", so I assumed it worked but installing the hot fix results in a failed update message upon reboot. At no point was any "mkk" folder created, I just got a "KPPMainAppV2" crash dump once, but unfortunately lost it due to reflashing the firmware to try over again. Commands like ;log dont work and it returns to the demo setup screen after force rebooting it when it crashes. Then im brought back to step 2 when the device reinstalls the demo and resets everything.
Seems like everything went fine and you just installed the hotfix wrong or not at all

Looks like I kept getting the update error while trying to install the hotfix due to overriding the files from the tarball with the repo I cloned, which was missing the PatchedUks.sqsh file. It's still weird how the language never got changed to Chinese, but I followed the advice on the mobileread forums and didn't copy the .demo folder during the reselling step, so you don't need to deal with getting out of demo mode afterwards. Anyways, I finally got the mkk folder now which is awesome. Maybe I should have just paid more attention, but thanks for making this possible either way!
Language is changed to English in the jailbreak script cuz most people don't speak chinese
