Seems to always warn about multiple users?
Hey! I've noticed that for myself and several other users, protonutils always warns about multiple users, even if there's only one:
$ protonutils appid 440
Warning: Several Steam users available, using xxxxxxxx
All available users: xxxxxxxx
Option "-u" can be used to specify user
Happy to put a PR up to fix this, if it's not already on your radar. Could be related to Steam Family Sharing, I'm not sure.
Looking into this further, it seems like -u doesn't work for any commands? No matter what userid I pass to it, the behavior of the command doesn't seem to change. Maybe the fix in #7 was undone somehow? Happy to look into this if you have any ideas.
Thanks a lot for reporting! I did a fix in https://github.com/nning/protonutils/commit/be1e556cf649348e35ca7bb70798e6aedb936eab.
Please test the development version: https://github.com/nning/protonutils/actions/runs/10882718978/artifacts/1937119900
Very nice, thank you!
Not sure if it's a bug, but it does seem like you can pass a bogus userid to -u:
./cmd/protonutils/protonutils compattool set -u 12345 22320 luxtorpeda
Not sure if that's expected or not, there's no error coming for passing a userid that doesn't exist locally.
Either way, thanks!
