No UK news sources whatsoever

I just added the ppa and installed, but found no BBC, Guardian, Independent or any other UK specific news sources whatsoever, despite it asking me where I am in the world.

I have since uninstalled as it's not yet a useful news source for me. Why would I want to read news from other places in the world?

A way to integrate my own sources would be great, for instance if I was able to manually add the addresses of various websites for coffee to access and show me the main headlines from, and then was able to get coffee to open those websites when I wanted to look further into them.
