Publish with the Journal of Open Research Software?
I'm an Associate Editor with the Journal of Open Research Software (JORS) and I'm also a climate science postdoc in Hobart, Australia.
I was wondering if you'd considered publishing an article about PyRadarMet with JORS? It's a fantastic way to get academic credit for the hard work involved in developing and maintaining scientific software.
Hello Damien,
Thanks for reaching out. PyRadarMet is kind of funny in that I've actually ported it over to a couple different packages for broader distribution and maintenance. I'd have to think on that one.
However, I am in the process of preparing submissions for two other software packages with coauthors. Hopefully they cross your desk in the near future.
Best,
Nick
