Window fails to render after resize in macOS VM

In a macOS VM on Apple Silicon M1 (x86_64 not tested) using Parallels, when resizing an ngscopeclient window in the VM, you get a blank (grey) window with nothing rendered inside it. Going fullscreen seems to get it rendering again.

Building the same code on the same hardware outside the VM does not exhibit this behavior - resize works as expected.
