(Preordered the Thunderscope PCIe card variant and was just considering opening an issue for this in the Thunderscope repository, before I realized you already created this issue here 😂)
I'm just about to build a suitable custom HID thing with several rotary encoders and a few buttons, because recent early access versions of the Picotech Picoscope software (which I'm using for my PS) now have keyboard hotkeys for a lot of frequently needed settings. (I can add screenshots of the default hotkey assignments if desired.)
I'll make the design of the HID thing (both kicad project & firmware) open and it would be totally awesome if I could also use this with scopeclient/Thunderscope then!
