Remember the last used target language (in local storage?) and set it as default when returning to Translate. If I am working on a document I have to select the target language every single time. This is annoying.

I originally reported this here: https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues/4219 @datenangebot suggested it to be tracked in the Translate repo, but I didn't follow up. So I'm doing that now :) EDIT: moved from Translate repo to Text repo.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a .md file
  2. Type some text
  3. Open Translate, select a target language
  4. Translate it
  5. Return to editing/writing some text
  6. Open Translate again

Actual behaviour

The target language is empty, I have to select it again.

Expected behaviour

The target language should be set to the language that I used when I opened the Translate modal for the first time.

So, this is not the right place to file this issue. Sorry. Might be a better fit for our AI user interface app, https://github.com/nextcloud/assistant/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+sort%3Aupdated-desc+translate
