[Feature Request] Allow Lists to be Excluded/Hidden from Smart Lists (Today, Week, All, Current)

I would like to see the option to exclude certain lists (to be precise: the tasks of that list) from being shown in the generated lists like "Today", "All" etc.

The way I'd like this to work is a checkbox in the "Edit List" menu, stating "Hidden" with the explanation of what that means ("If enabled, tasks won't be shown in generated lists like "All", "Current", "Today" and "Week"").

Could you please elaborate a bit why you would like to hide tasks from certain lists from the Smart Lists and maybe give an example for a use case? I don't quite understand why one should emphasize a task and then not be pointed out.

Could it be that you really want to hide certain lists completely? Hidden lists would then automatically not show up in the Smart Lists anymore.

Two of my usual use cases are:

• I have a list for groceries that should be bought. There is no reason to have them show up in my overview, as the items on the list are only important when I actually go out to shop. Then, I open the specific list and can mark everything on the fly.
• I have a few lists that are task-related, e.g. filing tax reports. As with the groceries, those tasks only get relevant when I actually do the task, in this case sit down and do the tax returns.

Tasks from these lists showing up in the general overview just clogs the overview itself without any real benefit. :)

I second this feature request. I think, the cases bannisdale mentioned are quite common. Additionally, with the possibility of having the deck app show cards as tasks in the task app, there is another good reason for decluttering the generated lists.

Using Deck Boards as a library is maybe not the intended use case of deck but it works. This makes this taks also useable for me.
