app is opening multiple instances (makes notification and calls hidden)
from gplay (can't find the review on gplay but it came as email, thus the app version is unknown):
"I don't know how but the app is opening multiple instances which I can see in task manager. This makes notification and calls hidden. Please fix this issue..."
Could not reproduce it yet.
@mahibi this is an ancient bug. I think it happens on Talk since v15.x.x or v16.x.x. It doesn't happen on all mobile devices. I can confirm that it happens at least on:
- Samsung S24 Ultra (With Android 14)
- Samsung A52 5G (With Android 13 and 14)
- Xiaomi mi 9 (With Android 9 and 10)
It doesn't happen on:
- OnePlus 8 (With Android 13)
Could be this problem affects the correct deliver of notifications and call for multiple accounts, too ?
In my case, S24 Ultra with a lof of instances of talk on the task manager of android, the notifications for the 1st account arrive correctly, not for the 2nd account on another server. (#3658 , #4039 )

To be frank that was me posting that on Gplay. Update : Still the problem persists even on the latest updates. Also calls cannot be made or received if multiple instances of talk app is opened until all the instances are manually closed
will there be a fix for this.??
