Synchronized Video Playback
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I would like the ability to watch videos together with my friends even if they aren't next to me.
Describe the solution you'd like Room owners can share video (or audio) files with the rest of the room and put them up on the main view for all to see. The shared file would then be preloaded by all viewers. If the file was already shared with and downloaded by any of these users, then maybe the local file could be used instead somehow to prevent unnecessary downloading? The room owner can play and pause the video anytime, and even change the position of the play slider on the video timeline, and everything will be automatically synchronized with all other viewers. Optionally the room owner could also give other users the permission to affect these things. There could also be an option to temporarily pause the playback for all others if the video of one viewer is buffering. Once the video is over the owner is given the option to unshare the video file, or it happens automatically.
There is no programmatic way to start/stop the video player in the viewer, right @skjnldsv ?
